How many of us are living the life that we truly want?
At a random guess, I’d say that would be 30% of the readers.
And if I ask what’s stopping you from living it?
I know I will get the following replies – (just keep scrolling down if I hit a nerve!)
- We can’t achieve half of the things that we imagine in a dream life.
- Reality is far different than imagination.
- You don’t always have the access to get what you want.
If I were to tell you that none of the abovementioned excuses are valid, you’ll have to believe that I’m saying the truth.
You see, the mind is a seat of thought and it is divided into two sections. The conscious and subconscious mind. All the reasons barring your way to living the life you want to stem from the conscious mind – the one that is always ‘aware,’ logical, and calculated. You’re thinking it is the one in control.
The subconscious mind, on the other hand, is the data bank storing all the information on your personal beliefs, memories, skills, life experiences, and circumstances. It’s on the back burner but it is ruling the show.
And that’s the key here. If you can reprogram your subconscious mind to manifest the life you want or the goals you aim to achieve, nothing is going to stop you.
Incredible isn’t it. But not sure how to do it?
Well, that’s precisely why I’m writing this blog!
Manifestation begins with belief
First things first. I’ve got to have your staunch belief in manifestation before we actually learn how to do it. Know that if you can unleash the power of your subconscious mind to overwrite all old patterns, habits, and programs holding you back, you can finally live the life you deserve.
And the great part is, that reprogramming is not so difficult. It just needs practicing, little by little, every day or night until you train yourself to stop doing things that you were doing unconsciously, and consciously start doing things that carve your path to success.
Therefore, once you have set an intention in your subconscious mind, here’s how you go on to manifest it.
1. Visualize your desired life and write it down.
It starts with noticing your limiting beliefs. Find out what you really want and visualize the success that you haven’t had. Humans are visual creatures; we can see a parallel universe in our mind’s eye. We can observe a profound change in our lives when we use the power of our imagination to create our reality.
No, I’m not talking about wishful daydreaming or vague, wishy-washy visualization of an ideal life. I’m talking about being super clear in your goals and giving your subconscious mind detailed instructions.
If you’re after manifesting wealth and leisure, you need to envision it – and keep that vision with you. Perhaps write it in a diary or a journal – that’s called scripting. Whenever you’re feeling down, take that journal out and read over your desires in ink and paper. This is the first step to reprogram your subconscious mind to manifest your dream life.
2. Cultivating positive self-talk and affirmations.
To reprogram your subconscious mind to manifest the life you’re after must include reworking the nasty, self-sabotaging beliefs that have denied you the life you truly deserve.
Learn to unconditionally love yourself. Replace the bullying voice inside your head with a loving, gentle one that talks only positivity and affirms your beliefs with empowering mantras.
Fall in love with yourself all over again, this time more profound and with new thoughts. Push away any negative voice that crops up, and let yourself know that you’re above what you’re feeling right now.
Repeating affirmations and positive statements over and over will cement them into your subconscious mind.
3. Meditation – the amazing method of reprogramming.
I cannot stress the importance of meditation in detoxing your body and mind and connecting to your higher self. The act allows you to bypass your conscious mind and anchor directly to the subconscious one, which is all that we fundamentally need to reprogram it.
